About this ebook
It's flu season again, at least that's what is seems to be. Something's gone wrong with the way the United States government is handling things. The problem is, they want to handle everything. Government control has gone bad in a fast moving, and horrifying way. It's easy to assume that everything we eat and drink is safe, because after all, it's inspected by experts, right? You won't ever look at a salad the same way again!

Tim Harding works for the United States government as a food inspector, and just transferred to Southern California as part of a very large promotion. For years Tim has been inspecting tomatoes, potatoes, and every other kind of vegetable thrown his way, to make certain that they are table ready to eat. After packing on short notice, and moving to California, Tim gets himself mentally prepared for his first day at a hydroponics development laboratory, located just north of the Mexican border. Tim's new boss, Steve Horton shows him around the plant, which takes up about five acres of real estate in the desert. I'm glad you could make it down here on short notice
