About this ebook

If you need work or self management skills, are broke and need to change, start here. A succinct and useful guide to help you change your life around. When you read this you will be reading the practical points from virtually a hundred or more books, audio programs and lectures in self-development. I went out of my way to learn everything I could about creating change and maintaining change, keeping up the momentum of change in my life and mind. This programme is based on simple principles. It is written in easy-to-understand, accessible language and the principles can be constantly applied in your day-to-day life. You can reprogramme your thought processes on the way to work in the car or on the train. You can use the principles if you are faced with a tough situation and need a framework to handle it. From finances to organisation, personal debt and work productivity, the answers are in this book. Just keeping at it, a little perseverance and determination are the keys. This is not one of those fat management books that repeats the same thing time and time again, there is no padding or 'buzz' words; this is a practical book about practical skills of change that lead to success.

    Introduction to this Guide

This programme is based on simple principles. For me it has worked. It is written in easy-to-understand, accessible language and the principles can be constantly applied in your day-to-day life. You can reprogramme your thought processes in the car or on the train. You can use the principles if you are faced with a tough situation in the moment. Just keeping at it, a little perseverance and determination are the keys. To get the most from the programme, I would suggest that you read the whole thing through once to understand the principles and how they work. Then re-read and begin to apply them.

It has taken me two years to turn it all around and go from depressed Broke Bloke to a guy who is pushing forward and under far less stress than before.

So you can use this for lavatory paper or you can go for it, engage your will and make a difference to your life.

Chapter 1 – Turning It Around

Welcome to one man’s method of turning life around.

In essence, it’s a way of registering the effort put in to achieve the success, growth and wealth of that institution. This book is about the stock exchange value of your life and how to change it.

I am the Broke Bloke. My story and situation are the same as a million other fifty-year-olds in an economy that doesn’t work. I have a mortgage I cannot pay off, a job with no prospects, overheads and debts. At the ripe old age of 55 I actually looked at my finances and realised that, when I retire, my pension would be worth nothing. I would have to sell my home and with the little profit it would make after paying off debts and mortgage I would end up living in a mobile home if I was lucky. If not… well, there would always be vacant spots in ditches and under holly bushes on the verge of the M25.

I am like most working guys of my age; we entered the workplace with a
