Abandoned by his mom, Garrison joins a high school military academy, leaving behind a younger stepbrother Glen and stepdad Jim. Four years elapse. While visiting over winter break, Jim passes down to Garrison an heirloom left behind by the boys’ late mom. Drastic events coincide with that small wooden hope chest, starting with Glen’s disappearance, followed by a series of chilling murders.
