About this ebook

Suzi, Kathy and Brenda are three women who share a friendship like no other, a bond of sisterhood. They even share a business together, one they built with their own blood, sweat and tears. As luck would have it, the women are offered a job solving a centuries old mystery, one that made the Moonlight Casino famous. In accepting this job, they were offered complimentary rooms, luxurious dinners and run of the casino. The icing on the cake, ten thousand dollars reward after their mission is complete. How were they to know the owner of the lavish casino is a three hundred year old vampire and his young and handsome son, Damien, a newly made vampire would fall head over heels with one of their own? How were they to know the youthful cook they befriended was a vicious and sex-starved werewolf? How were they to know that the friendly and helpful maintenance man was really a re-animated corpse brought to life by his mother and the rest of her coven? How were they to know that this seemingly innocent mystery would lead them straight into the realms of a ghost carnival, scheming adulterers, a curse from a spiteful gypsy and a pavilion filled with killer clowns and a gorgeous gigolo named Pierre? They didn't, it's just a part of the Mystery at the Moonlight Casino."

I really just couldn't get into this one. Were the spelling and grammatical errors part of the book? What about the totally maddening misuse of words? It seems like it might have been trying for a Jasper Fford or Robert Rankin type of story, but it fell seriously short. And speaking of short, the ending was really abrupt and followed by pages and pages of blank screens. Horrorotica has an interesting sound to it, maybe a bit edgier than paranormal romance, but this left me cold. Not sure I'll be reading anything further in this vein.
