I realized that the author actually has two books that have a slightly different title that teach on the Person of the Holy Spirit; one is this one and the other is 7 Things The Holy Spirit Will Do For You. I plan on reading the aforementioned next.

The following is what the author teaches The Holy Spirit will do in you in this book:

1. He will give you understanding

2. He will bring The Anointing into your life

3. He will teach you

4. He will guide you

5. He will cause you to do right

6. He will bring colour into your life

7. He will vitalize your mortal body

My favourite chapter and the one that spoke the most to me personally was chapter 4: He Will Bring The Anointing Into Your Life. In it, he says, "The anointing is the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our lives. It's the supernatural ability the Holy Spirit brings into our lives that cannot be explained. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit takes over your spirit and puts power within you that enables you [to] see, think, say and do things ordinary men can't. This is the work of the anointing - it guides and leads you in everything to do" (Page 30). This anointing is a divine enabling.

I had a revelation as I read this book when I was pondering on the Scripture in Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (King James Version). Those who are students of the Word of God will know that "Christ" actually means "Anointed One". So the revelation I had was that it is actually "the anointing" that causes us to be able to do all things because it strengthens us. The power or the anointing of the Holy Spirit will give you supernatural strength...supernatural ability...supernatural talent...supernatural gifts.... You will be a sign and a wonder to your generation. In other words, people will say, "how is he/she able to do that?" Amen.

This book has excellent revelation on the Person and work of the Holy Spirit and what He will do in you! Now excited to go to his next book to see what insights he will provide for what The Holy Spirit will do for you!
