Here is a cry from the heart -

The world today

Leads us astray.

Life is not the same.

The evil one is to blame.

Times are new.

Minutes are all too few.

God hear our cry

To You on high.

Help us to be

What you have called us to be.

Help us to see

What our children will be.

As they grow

Help us to know -

How to reach them

How to teach them.

As we lead them in thy way

We pray that they will not stray.

It is all too clear

That you are near.

And you long to see

That we are free
