About this ebook

In order to achieve abundance in your life, it is necessary to detach any and all negative and prohibitive feelings that may be connected to a life of plenty. Now, it is possible that you may not be aware of these feelings that hold you back. A sure sign is to ask yourself, do I feel abundance in my life? Do I feel I have enough? Am I fulfilled and have all that I desire? If you answer these questions in the negative, then it is possible that you have conflicting thoughts and feelings regarding money. Once you untangle your conditioned thoughts and feelings regarding money, you can then get the belief system in your head away from "not enough, can’t, not possible, I am without," towards having everything your heart desires. By doing this, you get money out of your head and into your pocket.

My hope is that you have as much fun and gain as much inspiration from reading this book as I did putting it together. These are my own interpretations of universal concepts, and my hope is for you to create your own using the tools that I share in this eBook. My wish is for you to become more aware of your own innate intelligence by tuning into the universe to find the universal concepts by which you can live your life.

    INSPIRATIONAL VERSE

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God; your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

    FOREWORD

I have created this book to understand Soul Accounting, which is the understanding of abundance and the role of money using universal principles for a variety of reasons. I wanted a challenge that I could undertake for myself on a topic that I wanted to learn more about. The whole purpose of life is to challenge oneself. From these challenges come awareness, growth and wisdom. From my experience, knowledge and wisdom, I would like to share this book with you.

In order to achieve Soul Accounting in your life, it is necessary to detach any and all negative and prohibitive feelings that may be connected to a life of plenty. Once you untangle your conditioned thoughts and feelings regarding money, you can then change the belief system in your head of not enough, I can’t, not possible, I am without, to one of having everything your heart desires. When you do this, you get money out of your head and into your pocket.

My hope is that you have as much fun and gain as much inspiration from reading this book as I did from putting it together. These are my own interpretations of universal concepts and my hope is for you to create your own work on universal concepts. My wish is for you to become more aware of your own innate intelligence or Soul Accounting by tuning into the universe to find the universal concepts by which you can live your life. Only then can you truly live your life by your own principles and claim your destiny as truly your own.

Thank you for being yourself and God bless each and every one of you.

    PROLOGUE

I began this process of transformation stressed out, burnt out, physically unhealthy, unhappy and feeling empty. I felt I was missing out on something, yet I did not know what it was. I had been searching for so many years with lectures, seminars, re-visiting religions, reading books on new age thinking and watching videos on spiritual and enlightened masters. And while so much was interesting and gave me hope, none filled the void I felt within.

I had a successful career, both short and long term relationships, the house, cars and all the trappings of the good life. Unfortunately, I still felt empty. Having the money, being successful, and doing all the things I thought I was supposed to do to make me happy were either fleeting or failed completely. I was living my life unconsciously, seeking with my eyes shut. My view of life was distorted by my childhood pain, conditioning, and programming. I was not aware of what was in the way of my being free. As a matter of fact, my programming was such that when asked how I was doing, I always answered FINE. And I really believed it! Yet all evidence was to the contrary. My health was mediocre. Each day I went through the motion of living only what I knew, and it did not work. I hated Mondays, wished for Friday to be over, collapsed on Saturday and felt better Sunday morning until the late afternoon, then began the dread of not wanting Monday to come and sad that Sunday was drawing to a close. What a way to live life! I lived that way for more years than I can count. I was ready for a change. I just didn’t know how or what to do to change it.

I had it all together at work. I was in top form with my career because there was no emotional or spiritual need for me to be me. I could pass. On the personal front, my life was a mess. I bounced from one relationship to the next, unhappy, unfulfilled and always looking for something or someone better. The saying that money doesn’t buy you happiness was so true, yet I was conflicted because my childhood programming and society’s brainwashing told me that it was the answer. Money, success, marriage, a house, career and church attendance would be the answer. Alas it was not for me. I was still empty with everything I was told would fill my void.

My ignorance about life, relationships and love made me follow the examples that I grew up with. I was just going through the motions. I was performing the way I was taught; never venturing outside the box I inadvertently placed myself in as a child. As an adult, I still lived in that proverbial box. I felt enraged, powerless, doubting, fearful and lost. I was living life unaware, misinformed and in denial.

Then one day, my sister called me and invited me to come to a one day workshop in Boston. I gave her all the acceptable excuses I could think of to avoid going – I had no time and I would lose money if I took time off from work. I would tell her it was too far into the future to know if I could come, then there was too little time to change my plans and be spontaneous. After all, I couldn’t just drop everything and race off to do something on a whim. How irresponsible! How impossible! How scary! Then came my excuses about work. Who would take care of the business while I was gone? I couldn’t afford to go and be away from work. I didn’t have vacation time or flexibility at work. You all are familiar with the excuse game. No time, no money, no can do, oh my. I was definitely swimming in that river in Egypt - De Nile! What I did not expect was that my sister had considered each and every road block I put in my path. I was left with no more excuses. She had beaten me at my own game, and I finally surrendered.

It was a decision that would change my life forever. I put up
