Works by contemporary artists stolen under security team’s nose

The art world suffered a further blow yesterday as paintings worth an estimated £50 million were stolen from a museum in Switzerland. The raid is thought to be one of Europe’s largest art thefts in recent years.

Paintings by several well-known contemporary artists are among the art
