TWO THINGS in life gave Sue great pleasure: sex and giving orders.

As president of Harwell Industries, telling people what to do was a big part of the job. Her father was the majority owner and nominal CEO, but since he was semi-retired, Sue ran the company. She was thirty-two and could be as hard-nosed as any man of any age.
