We might need to set up camp in a while, Nathan said to Danni as they trudged onward through the darkening woods.

Would be nice if we could find a stream or something to camp beside, said Danni.

Nathan first checked his GPS, then a small map. There should be a stream not too far ahead. Perhaps a half hour walk. That’ll still give us plenty of time to find some level ground, set up the tent and build a fire.

The pair had been trekking through the wilderness for most of the day, with the plan being a three day hike in a circuit back to their car.
