What is a Tiger?
Tigers are members of the cat family. They are the biggest cats still alive today. The saber-toothed tiger used to be bigger, but there are no more saber-toothed tigers around.
Tigers come in many colors. A lot of tigers are orange with black stripes. There are also white tigers with white stripes, white tigers with black stripes, and black tigers with black stripes.
Some tigers have stripes that go all around their bodies. Other tigers only have stripes on their backs and the outside of their legs. The inside of their legs and their stomach does not have stripes.
