Along the way we meet Melanie, the Zen Adventures spiritual advisor whose special ability to spot vortexes causes her to bond with receptive clients, but leaves others scratching their heads. On one fateful float trip characters from Books One and Two merge with those of Book Three in what can be described as a "Confluence of Disorder."
