About this series

Book Four: Billy Boy of the Run Billy Boy Run series details the life of fugitive William (Billy) Boy Burk, and his high-profile run from the law. Included is the original crime which began Billy's run from justice, his eventual arrest, and his subsequent escape. While on the lam, Billy holds up Honest Melvin's Jewelry and Pawn where we meet mild-mannered Melvin Zimmerman and Honest Melvin's not-so-dainty bride. In the aftermath Billy turns stowaway and ends up in Grand Canyon National Park. In the Canyon our fugitive experiences both failure and success while masquerading as an Irish priest and later as a park ranger.
Also, twenty years into the future a riddle is solved when a son opens his deceased father's safe deposit box -- a riddle that began in the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River.

A novel in four parts, Run Billy Boy Run takes place deep into the heart of the Grand Canyon. Each book entails humorus adventures and misadventures perpetrated by a host of unusual characters all of whom are intertwined throughout the series. Book One: A Job for a Specialist introduces a fugitive on a marathon run from the law, a struggling actor and his newly-retired father, and an unorthodox park ranger who at times acts as if he were two entirely different people. Questions asked in Books One and Two are ultimately answered in Three and Four.

Filled with a host of off-beat and often humorus characters, Run Billy Boy Run, Book Two: Flying High, introduces the "unheros" Vernon Pickle and Oscar Pum. The misfits become involved in a shady but "surething" enterprise that goes decidedly wrong and puts them in the sights of a Mexican crime boss. Later they are chased into the Grand Canyon by a deranged killer. While there, they meet up with members of a "new-age" boating party who, thinking Pickle and Pum's appearance fulfills a prophesy, offers them a ride -- a ride which falls far short of expectations.

The Confluence of Disorder is the third book in the Run Billy Boy Run series. Central to the story is a "new age" rafting company doing business plying the Colorado River. The Grand Canyon Zen Adventures crew caters to rich eccentrics in need of spiritual enlightenment -- easy and colorfully packaged. Along the way we meet Melanie, the Zen Adventures spiritual advisor whose special ability to spot vortexes causes her to bond with receptive clients, but leaves others scratching their heads. On one fateful float trip characters from Books One and Two merge with those of Book Three in what can be described as a "Confluence of Disorder."
