-About the Author-

Michael Cantes a.k.a. Daikenja Hailfrost is a practitioner of witchcraft since he was seven years of age. He has exposed witchcraft after he was hospitalized with typhoid fever and almost died. He then met his deity and sworn to her and accepted her to be his protector. He is also the founder of the Philippine Wiccan Academy of the Blue Flame and the Leader of the Order of the Blue Flame. He is fond of affliction spells and mind manipulation spells. He was inspired to write this book by his students and friends. In his mundane life he works as a free lance I.T. specialist and a father of 2 sons. He is a servant of Hekate and Marduk. In his earlier days he lived a rough day to day life. Now he is living with a much steady and self-sufficient life.

-A letter to a special someone-

To my dearest wife,

First I would like to thank you for staying with me in these rough days. When you learned I was writing a book you are the one who encouraged me to do so. Therefore this book is dedicated solely to you. You always asked me for my notes and logs about my adventure in the gates of the other worlds to meet a certain god or goddess, I really want to give them to you but I am afraid that you might not return for I once was been there and almost got stuck at that place if it were not for my loyal familiars whom sacrificed their very lives just to bring me here. I always wanted to tell you my adventures but sometimes I wonder if you will listen to them. Sorry if you feel that I am too far even though I am too close. Maybe I’m just too shy even now to show you how I really feel. Also sorry if you feel that I am too far to our dearest son, but I assure you I am watching him every single night in a way that other people might not understand. I will take this chance to say this to you even in the hardest path that we might take I will remain loyal to you as I said on that sacred day of promises and vows under the guidance of our goddess Hekate.

-Magick-

Magick is simple has rules like mundane, push and pull with your heart and direct with your brain. Magick is quite simple and basic. It is the process of which and individual taps into his reservoir of strength to make changes to the physical world. Some can do too little and some can bring down mountains literally. Some says magick and science are contradictory. They just can’t explain how magick work. Let us return back in the old days where today's science is called magick.

Remember the lemon battery? If you bring one back into the medieval age everyone will be amazed when you shock them using such method. Remember the gunpowder? Old wizards used to make their so called fire spells that explodes.

These are some of the example of modern day science that is considered magick before.

Why does modern day science can’t explain magic? The answer is simple, they don’t believe in it. If you believe in something, you can achieve anything. That is the basic foundation of magick! You need to believe that you can do it and trust in the gods that they will aid you.
