Rumor or Real?
He was only twelve when his father passed away, a tragic car accident, and his mother died during childbirth; the funeral was solemn, lonely, and he held his uncle’s hand as tears streamed down his face. Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glance of a gaunt face, bright pale-green, large eyes with jet-black pupils and a wicked smile enough to jolt your soul. He jumped at the sight of it and clutched his uncle’s arm deadly tight. Kids at school told wild rumors of a small green creature who lived in the cemetery; he never believed them before today. After the wake, he retired to his room. From his upstairs window, he could see a portion of the graveyard just two blocks away. He wondered if it was real or just a dream. Could he have been so stressed that he imagined it? The city has had sixteen people missing, of all ages, and what about the large holes throughout the graveyard? The caretaker claims it’s just stray dogs.
He decided to pack his flashlight, a sleeping bag, and small tent. He felt his father watching over him. He tied everything to his bike and traveled to the cemetery around 2:00 a.m. He silently crept over to an old crypt broken open long ago to set up camp inside. After a while, a light fog set in. The graves were lit by the full moon. As he peered across the tombstones, digging could be heard in the distance. He darted between the graves and crept over to where his father was recently buried. He saw green hands throwing dirt out of the pit at an amazing rate; the sound of ripping wood was growling and gnashing with eagerness. Hobbling the corpse over his small fluorescent green back, the legend appeared towing the body into the brush. Keeping still, unnoticed he saw the head being ripped off; the ghastly ghoul then spiked it high up in the tree and cleared the throat, making a tunnel through the voice box so the head makes a bone-chilling moan when the wind blows. He then covered it in leaves and branches camouflaging it like a bird’s nest. Looking around the many trees, he counted fifteen such nests. Gasping in silent shock, he watched the ghoul feasting on his father’s headless corpse. Its left two front teeth missing, the right side long and jagged. Quietly returning to the crypt, he could hear the wicked howls of the heads on the trees as if set to lure relatives and victims into the graveyard searching for their lost loves. Dawn came, and he raced home in time to get to school. He showered, brushed his teeth; his uncle not noticing him gone made a sack lunch. He raced to the bus stop, and he thought if he could tell the principal, then everything would be okay. The school bell rang; he told his teacher it was an emergency and he had to see the principal. The teacher was concerned knowing his father passed away and escorted him to the prodesk in the principal’s office. The principal offered him a seat and asked what the problem was. The boy shrieked in silent horror, for as the principal leaned back in his seat, he looked up at his teacher. His teacher smiled and was missing two left front teeth.
Love
How do we capture love? That sparkles in her eye, the touch of a rose, falling to your knees in tears . . . in the snow. Every man, through the ages, has sought this priceless treasure . . . the heart of a lady. Love is man’s endless torment and simultaneously heaven on earth to him. Love is the undying agony without and the blissful paradise within. Every man’s dream begins with her, then kids, house, car, and the classic dream. It baffles every man. How many lives have been crashed against the rocks of love? Forever emotionally shipwrecked, never again the same, once innocently curious to see within the magic of love. It’s blinding rays of bliss; her hypnotic gaze takes control of you. Love is, within itself a mystery, like trying to hear a sunbeam. We are helpless against its power over us, as if enslaving our souls, and you can actually feel it in you, even if you feel jealousy (which is a symptom of love) proves you’re in love. But once you touch love and you possess it (her), it’s the greatest feeling ever felt—the holy of holies, and nirvana. From then on you’re hooked and will literally do anything to maintain this state of mind. Women truly possess a hidden power over men. As if every star in the sky were collected in a box that every little boy in the world dreams of peeking into . . . the heart of a woman.
Marriage
The first year or two, it’s complete bliss; if you make it past three, you’re lucky—and by five years, you pretty much know everything there is to know about your partner. A man starts to love with the heart after childbirth; before that, it’s purely sexual. The woman drops off sexually after childbirth, and before that she’s solely after pumping out kids or enticing him to make one. All the natural process of a relationship. Honestly, to be married for more than ten years is unrealistic because you’re gonna get so bored with the others habits and the same routines. Let’s just say it’s a divine
way to guarantee the procreation
