Alyssa was getting hotter by the minute. Her body hadn’t adjusted to the heat of a Texan summer. However, the burning that rocketed throughout had nothing to do with the sun. It was the hired help, the man of her dreams for the past week. The moment he opened his mouth and said, Howdy, Darlin,’ she pivoted on the spot fast enough that she nearly lost balance. She had to confirm if he was as sexy as her mind had allowed. He was that and more. His presence consumed her senses a thousand times over; thick, dark-brown hair and succulent green eyes that caught her by surprise.

The way his fingers grasped at the white cowboy hat sent her into turmoil. Even though it was something she had seen many times on the cattle farm back home, no one in Australia had the power to catch her breath that way.
