Innocence Has Its Price - Sylvia Redmond

    Introduction

Females of virtue sought for a unique dating engagement

$1 million dollar all-expenses paid compensation package

Onsite medical exam required to authenticate purity

Acceptance dependent on signature of a confidentiality agreement

Interested candidates should reply in confidence with photo to attached address

Was this really the kind of thing she had been saving herself for?

But she was pretty sure she had the minimum requirements for whatever the person on the other side of this ad was looking for, and she had few other options to get a hold of the money that she needed. She was sure it was just a gag – even as she started typing out her email response she told herself that she was replying to a huckster.

    Chapter 1

Evan Rockwell was the reluctant heir of family fortune that had been built on the backs of slaves and carpetbaggers long before his grandfather was born. At one point his great grandfather had been one of the largest land owners in the South. His grandfather had parleyed that fortune into a steel empire at some point during the industrial revolution. His own father had been less industrious but had managed to at least not screw anything up to blow the
