Luke was honest and simple. That was what Raphael noticed about the raven-haired man. The simplicity didn't interest him all that much in the beginning, but combined with the trait of honesty, it could be endearing. They never had a whirlwind type of romance, but then what they had together was good.

It was one evening after a long day spent in company meetings when Raphael found Luke in front of his house. He'd let the younger man into his place, wondering whether Luke knew he never allowed anyone in there except when he was going to fuck someone.

Rafael smirked. After the pointless meetings that gave him a headache, that was exactly what he needed too. And you came to me for that?
