About this ebook

Casey had often referred to it as the witch's bathroom. But that was just tongue in cheek. Her mother had always been a bit of an eccentric decorator and Casey didn't think for a moment that there was anything in it. But little did she know how much evil really lurked within the walls of that small room... not until that fateful day when she looked up and found herself face to face with a ghost.

Why on earth would a ghost be haunting their bathroom? Why is it trying to scare her? Casey couldn't possibly imagine but she needs to find out.

Lenka Dusek

Lenka Dusek was born in the Czech Republic. She immigrated with her family to the UK in 2002. Having studied English literature at university (Masaryk University, Czech Republic) she decided to take up writing, and became a freelance ghost writer for a number of UK authors. She has had a lifelong interest in mythology. As a teenager she and a group of like-minded students were privileged enough to be able to stay overnight at some of the most notorious haunted castles in Europe, including Moosham Castle in Unternberg, Austria, and Predjama Castle In Slovenia. She has been all over Europe searching for evidence of paranormal activity, and has undertaken extensive research into vampire folklore. Her fascination for the supernatural has never waned. Most of the characters in her works are modeled on the real people, particularly those people she traveled with and who shared her interest in the occult.

This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It took me about an hour or so to read, and I couldn't put it down. To bad the book wasn't a bit longer. I could see everything through Casey's eyes as it unfolds throughout the story and was taken by shock in the unforeseeable twist. Can't wait to see more from this Author!

The Wrong Face

Casey bowed her head low over the half-full sink, cupped its warm clear water in her two hands, and splashed it up into her face. She was in the main bathroom of her house, rinsing off cosmetic toner. When her skin was well doused she massaged her cheeks and forehead vigorously to get the product off. Her eyes remained closed. Without checking her progress she cupped another handful of water and threw it up into her face, knowing that she’d probably missed the hard to reach area near her hairline on the first attempt.

The family bathroom was not like most people’s bathrooms. For a start it was the size of a small lounge. There was a generous claw-foot bath standing in the middle of the room, not at the sides as most would have it. Another unusual thing about it was the décor. Most bathrooms were bright and white, but this bathroom had darkened walls, an almost black wooden floor, and sleek black porcelain amenities. Even the bath was jet black. Hanging over the bath was a big chandelier - of all things - made of wrought iron and housing a dozen little lights, and it was complimented by matching wrought iron lanterns around the walls. In front of the sink was a giant mirror bordered by the most incredibly ornate metalwork. And then there was the umbrella stand. Why her mother had put an umbrella stand full of black Victorian hats and cloaks into the bathroom was a complete mystery. But it looked whimsical.

During the day it was the funkiest bathroom ever, and Casey enjoyed showing it off to her high school friends. They called it the witch’s bathroom because it looked like something that would look at home in a witch’s coven.

But at night
