About this ebook
It is difficult to write a stage play in a science fiction setting, but with a bit of creative back stage work these two one act plays should satisfy some of the fans out there.
The Astro Repair Shop.
When space travel becomes commonplace the need for shops to repair these space vessels will become vital as well. This play is set in an orbiting asteroid with three service bays and no waiting. Vanessa Xanachrome and Winston Samaroon see to that. But the ship that is Vanessa’s pet project will save them when an errant tug collides with the shop.
The Arcade Warrior.
In a small town arcade Peter Bently enters a multi-player full immersion game with players from around the world. When one of his fellow players asks for his help in escaping from another country he must figure out how to change the game into a matter transfer portal (or transporter, if you prefer) while his team-mates continue their game.

About the Author
Preface:
Many years ago when I wrote these two plays I was told it was really difficult to write a stage play in a science fiction setting. So I wrote these two one act plays in a science fiction setting. It is still hard to write such plays today, but with a bit of creative stage work these two one act plays should satisfy some of the science fiction fans out there.
The formatting used was in style when I wrote these plays, so it may be different that some readers are used to (and some e-readers will show things up differently anyway). My apologies for not knowing the current format, but I haven't found any stories lately that would work as a stage play.
Again, if you choose to perform either of these plays, make sure to give me appropriate credit as the author. Please purchase a copy of the book for each performer, and I would appreciate a copy of the program, as well as any reviews and other details about the performance.

THE CURTAIN RISES

He has a pair of coveralls under his arm and is skimming through one of the magazines on the table in front of him. He is on the waiting room side of the stage. There are two chairs, a small coffee table with a pitcher of water, glasses and some magazines on it. There is also a counter with a door behind it, leading to the dark area of the stage. There are posters of various space ships on the wall behind the
