About this ebook

Our poems are concerned with the dark shadow of suffering in seven scenes; real moments in real life. Sometimes these dark moments are experienced as loss, sadness,or confusion, etc. Sometimes they appear as crushing, life changing events. God's light, sought, or unsought, comes in varying degrees of intensity - from dim to blinding. This brightness goes to the soul, bringing joy, peace, healing.

    Your perfume filled my senses,

But I knew it wasn’t you.

How can presence be so absent,

    And fullness so empty.

And your face across the room,

Now just a memory to me.

    Now everything we’ve known,

    Is just a memory.

    Places,

    Where we used to go,

    People,

    We said we’d treasure,

Now both attract me and repel,

    As one,

    In equal measure.

    Time, Place,

    Spinning my senses.

    Photographs,
