About this ebook

Lord Jamie Hastings is everything a single woman wants: eligible, rich and stunning. The second heir to the Hastings Fortune — landowners in colonial Burma — he has it all, or so it seems. Jamie's heart may be strong, but his body is weak. Tuberculosis struck him as a child, and he never quite recovered.
His disease is kept a secret by his family, hoping to marry him off for additional fortune. As Jamie fades fast, they search for the perfect bride. But Jamie has another secret, his heart has already been won by a young farm worker. Thuza is an angelic beauty, who has never looked upon him with pity or judgement. But as his health fails, it appears that his fate is sealed in life.
