    Reminder From Jesus & Mary

Jesus and Mary would like to remind you that any document produced by Divine Truth containing any information from Jesus, Mary or any other person includes only a portion of God's Truth that they have personally discovered.

It does not and cannot contain the entire of God's Truth since God's Truth is infinite and humankind will forever continue to discover more of God's Truth as we progress in receiving more of God's Love.

Please remember that due to these limitations information contained within this document may need to be revised in the future.

Coping with Spirit Influence: Part 1

    1. Introduction

As you know Mary and I had a three-week trip over to New Zealand. One of the things for me that I had to deal with emotionally over there was that I was quite saddened by the amount of destruction by white people. This whole thing that we seem to have of conquer the world and conquer every plant, animal and everything in our wake and the amount of destruction it creates; just seeing literally hundreds of kilometres of mountains with no trees on them. That was quite surprising for me, I sort of expected New Zealand to be a little different than that, and so I had a few emotions to deal with about that. And Mary dealt with quite a number of different emotions too while we were away, so that was really good for us.

We got home two weeks ago now and we did one session, as many of you know, last week in Brisbane on the Sunday without having a whiteboard, which was pretty hard for me (laughter), but I got over it. The presentation last week was about addictions and expectations, The Human Soul - Expectations and Addictions, and in fact I would probably like to have that discussion with you again at some point because I feel it is quite an important discussion to have. (00:05:12)

Now today some of you are probably expecting that I chat about soulmates, is that right? No? Oh that’s good because I’m not going to (laughter) because we did a couple of those discussions a month ago instead. We will be having another soulmate discussion or another weekend on the soulmate issue at some point in the future, but what I wanted to raise with you over the coming couple of weeks in preparation for the hundred and sixty of you who are going along to Mary’s workshops is a number of different things that you face in your day to day lives in terms of opposition to staying in truth and actually progressing towards God. (00:06:00)

    2. Differences between progression on Earth and in the spirit world

There are three or four main areas that are affecting your progression towards God and that cause you at any one point in time to get quite shut down and disillusioned with the process of becoming at-one with God. So what I’d like to do firstly is note down what they are, and I’m going to then hone in on one of them and talk about one of them today. And what I’ll do the next time we get together, in a couple of week’s time, is I’ll hone in on another and talk about that. There are actually a few that I’ve already talked about that are a part of it, but what I would like to say firstly is that being on Earth and progressing towards God is a fair bit different in some ways to being in the spirit world and progressing towards God, and there are a number of very practical and logical reasons why that is the case which I would like to describe to you.

2.1. The Earth is in a first sphere condition

The Earth is in the first sphere state and then you’ve got second sphere, third sphere and so forth; these are all dimensional spaces in the universe, or spheres of progression let’s call them. Each one of those is a different gradient of love. (00:07:36)

The Earth is in a first sphere condition

Now because the Earth is in the first sphere, when we live on the Earth and we’re trying to progress, we’re trying to get out of what everybody else actually does, because most people around us are in that same place. We’re trying to get ourselves out of the mud, if you like, from an emotional perspective. Now that’s very, very hard when you’re surrounded with people who want you to stay in the mud, because you just find yourself out and somebody looks at you, and you’re just about teetering on the edge of the mud. And somebody gives you a push back into it and away you go again, splat, and you’ve got to climb back out again. And there are a lot of different things going on emotionally and also in terms of external pressures that cause us to
