Kumble bagged 619 Test wickets, and he is the third-highest wicket taker in the world. He is only behind Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne, as of 2012.
Most of the spin bowlers rely on the turn of the ball, but unlike them Kumble mostly relied on pace and accuracy of his deliveries. He was able to make the ball bounce with variations in speed, and it made him a difficult bowler to face.

Chapter One: Introduction
Anil Kumble is one of the greatest spin bowlers from India. He is the highest wicket taking bowler in India up to the present.
Kumble was born on 17th of October, 1970, in Karnataka, Bangalore. He represented the Indian Test and One Day International team for a fairly long time. Anil Kumble has also captained the Indian Test team.
He is a right arm leg spin bowlers. His leg break googlies and flippers continued to trouble even the best of the batsmen in the international cricket playing nations.
Kumble bagged 619 Test wickets, and he is the third-highest wicket taker in the world. He is only behind Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne, as of 2012.
