Forgotten Country Of Africa - Mozambique
The Republic of Mozambique is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The spectacular azure ocean, pristine sandy beaches and off-shore islands basked in sunshine are just a few of the many attractions that draw visitors from neighboring countries, and many other parts of the world, to this laid-back country. The fact that it’s mostly undeveloped and visitors can drive for mile upon mile without seeing anything but beach and ocean is a pleasure one does not have in many other countries.
Vasco da Gama called this place Terra de Boa Gente when he first landed on these shores, because of the friendliness of the people living here. Today the same can be said about the Mozambicans, they are still a friendly laid-back people.
Mozambique is one of Africa’s best kept secrets, but it will not last forever, as tourists from around the globe are discovering this gem of the Indian Ocean. Family vacations are fun and very affordable here.
