About this ebook

Jill only wanted to get along, but it seemed like Shannon lived to make her miserable. She was ruthless and used whatever she could to get under her skin
and destroy her mentally and even financially.
She had never met this woman and wondered how could someone be so evil. Her husband Daniel seemed to be the good Christian, who refused to get all worked up over her foolishness and plots. Jill seemed to be pissed and the only one being hurt, so even though she knows it is not Christian-like, she takes the gloves off and lets Jessie go in for revenge!
When Jessie is done with her, Shannon's going to wish long and hard that she could turn the hands of time back-way back!

There's Something About Jessie is an amateur attempt at writing a christian inspirational story with quite a few proverbs that are supposed to relate to the trials the characters are going through at that moment in each chapter. I can see a lot of possible potential in the book with some more work, editing and formatting. I wanted to connect to the characters more but there really wasn't anything to build an emotional tie on so I couldn't get emotionally involved in what was going on in either direction. Several minor details that help get you from one point to another seemed to be skipped over completely which made me have to re read the story more than once to follow the disjointed flow of writing but the story itself should be really good once it goes through an additional fleshing process.

Chapter 1

Jill walked into the court room just in time for the show. It took her forever to find a parking space downtown. She hated having to be on chauffer detail, but this court appointment was not for her. It was her new husband Daniel, whose name was on the summons; she was simply going along as his on-board support system. As Jill quickly found some space on the bench in the back, she quietly made her way to it, as she kept her eyes on the judge and the show.

Daniel and his daughter’s mother, Shannon, stood in front of Judge Halenbach’s bench, listening intently as he read the purpose of the appointment to them to start the resolution dialogue. The purpose of their meeting was to determine appropriate child support payments for the petitioner. Since the petitioner was Shannon, who was being represented by the State of IL, he asked her for the paperwork that she filled out with the information regarding her bills, overhead and medical needs for her family including Anne- Daniel’s eight-year-old child.

Daniel stood there in a suit that was too large for his frame, holding the paperwork that itemized his bills and responsibilities,
