PREFACE

For many decades, the intrigue, mystery, and adventure of faraway Islands continues to pour from the minds of numerous writers and entertain a gamut of age ranges, from young children to octogenarians and beyond. I am convinced this eBook falls into that category. This novel-length fiction eBook contains a vast and unique combination of adventure, intrigue, mystery, action, war-battles, thrills, romance, love, despair, deep passion and erotica.

This eBook, Unknown Island Paradise 2, is the second in the Series entitled

Unknown Island Chronicles, and continues the saga of the passionate love story between Andrew Cooper, now age 30, whose love of the sea is only surpassed by his unequalled passion for Maggie, age 30, his English soul-mate.

Andrew is a very tall, handsome guy with blonde wavy hair - a successful artist and entrepreneur in the retail trade - who has had a lifetime desire to explore the islands of the Caribbean and the Bermuda Triangle. Maggie is absolutely gorgeous and has fiery-red, curly hair - she has a wonderful sense of humor - and is devoted to her hunk of a man. Neither was ready to make a long-term commitment, such as marriage, at that time. Knowing how strong Andrew's quest was for his sailing adventure, Maggie, in her wisdom, realized he needed to get his nautical experience out of his system, and gave him her blessings to do just that.

After searching for the sailboat of his dreams, Andrew finally found, purchased, and customized a rather large, pre-owned catamaran sailboat from Cap'n Tom Jones, owner of the Tampa Marina. Andrew and the Cap'n became the best of friends, and the Marina would become Andrew's home port. Even though he had served a hitch in the Coast Guard, he was not a qualified seaman of such a large craft, per se, but after many hours of practice, he finally mastered the art of sailing, and obtained an operating license.

During the few months that Andrew was boning up on his sailing skills, he took many test runs in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida, and sometimes he would invite his Maggie to go with him on weekends. They both loved picnics, and Andrew would find a suitable, secluded island, which gave them privacy to pursue their erotic relationship. It was on one of those test runs that Andrew made - ALONE - that he was shipwrecked on an unknown island … and thus the Island Chronicle Series was born …

I want to dedicate this eBook to the real Maggie; yes, my Maggie, who was born in England many, moons ago. In my first book in this Series, she was instrumental in proof- reading and editing every word contained therein, and, in fact, she is the one who suggested that I include some real passion in that eBook. ABOUT RILEY - THE AUTHOR

Riley Geddings lives in Florida, and is happily married to his English wife, Maggie. After having served in the US Coast Guard, Riley started his career as a professional software programmer. He then changed vocations and became an entrepreneur in the retail trade. After a lifetime of producing oil paintings, he became one of Florida's popular landscape artists. His artwork hangs in the halls of many, many American homes and businesses, and a few can be found in England and Spain.

In the same way that he created his artistic masterpieces, Riley also had a desire to create literary masterpieces and thus a new author was born. He recognized that a hidden force was moving within him to urge him in this new direction. He calls upon this same force to lead him and to guide him to wield his words wisely.

This is the second book in the Series Unknown Island Chronicles. When my husband - Riley Geddings - wrote the first book of the Series, I helped him with his project by proof-reading and editing it to check the grammar, spelling, time-line, etc. and I wrote all of the erotic scenarios. Since the success of that first book, we have co-authored together the remainder of the books in this Series.

Those of you, who have met me, know that I am a word person - I love books - I love to compose poetry - write short stories - write scripts for dramas - do crosswords - play Scrabble - delve into trivia, etc. Whenever I write letters, I love to put my words together and produce long, descriptive sentences. I have always enjoyed the challenge of creating laudable articulation. My three favorite books are - The Bible - The Dictionary - and Roget's Thesaurus. I enjoy creative writing, and writing about erotica was one more avenue I chose to explore in my literary efforts. I have a very detailed, creative mind - I am an incurable romantic - I have a passion for life and living.

Riley's first book in this Series started out as an adventure mystery and I suggested it might need a little romance also. SO ... Riley asked me to help him with the story-line and write the romantic scenarios of the book whilst he handled the adventure, the action and the mystery. So I did just that. My exploring mind discovered a multitude of ideas and my creativity produced several opportunities for me to put pen to paper and transfer those mental images into words that one could read and then envision. Riley loved each and every one of my creations and included all of them in his first book … Unknown Island Paradise. Since then, we have co-authored all books in these Chronicles.

The reason I wrote this message is to alert our readers to my descriptions of the romantic scenes, most of which are rather erotic and graphic. I have always considered myself to be a lady - an English lady who has always had a deep sense of decorum and integrity - a lady of finesse - no vulgarity in my actions or speech. I would like your opinion of me to remain just that after you have read these books … and especially Chapter 21 in the first book - and several scenarios in this second book. I do not want you - or anyone - to paint my romantic descriptions with the same brush that one might paint some of the other erotic novels that are available in this day and age. Mine are not like the majority of literary efforts one might read on-line - I choose my words very carefully - I use no blasphemies - I use no obscenities - I use no vulgar innuendos - nor do I use any of the somewhat vulgar expressions used by some other writers to describe certain parts of the anatomy of a human being. There are plenty of words in Webster's to describe erotica without using vulgar innuendos and gutter language. These adventures are Riley's ideas - I just add a little romantic icing on the cake.

SUMMARY OF FIRST BOOK

Realizing that he had been shipwrecked, Andrew discovered that he had a broken ankle and a severe gash in his leg. He was rescued by friendly natives and nurtured back to health by two nurses - Wikea and head nurse Nakea, who developed a fatal attraction for Andrew - literally. The village consisted of many huts housing several hundred natives who were ruled by King Mohabbo and Queen Winea. The Islanders were very simple, loving, humble, naive people who believed in Three Great Spirits, and had vowed to be good to each other so that The Spirits would be good to them.

The Islanders had no connection with the outside world whatsoever, and lived in a commune-style village where each took care of the other - producing all food, livestock, and necessary items to live a simple life. No money was necessary - everything was provided free gratis. Everyone was willing and happy to perform all tasks, no matter how menial. They spoke a version of the Polynesian language and Andrew and Mohabbo learned to converse with each other with hand signals and words from both languages.

The village was attacked by a neighboring savage tribe of warriors and Andrew was instrumental in killing them all with his revolver and rifle - the only weapons - all the Islanders had were spears and clubs. Thus Andrew became their hero. After the battle, the King had a new hut built for Andrew and assigned Boto, and his wife Akea, as Andrew's personal manservant and housekeeper. Impressed by Andrew's success on the battle field, Mohabbo appointed him as Commander to create a small army of 20 Protectors. Andrew trained them and introduced them to the bow and arrow as their primary weapon. The Protectors became expert archers, trained in warfare similar to those of the Shaka Zulu Tribe in Africa. Thus when they were attacked by the remaining savage warriors, the Protectors were able to kill them all. Of the 20 Protectors, Andrew felt
