About this ebook
What happens when a writer of non-fiction takes on the classic haiku form? In Stu Shea's case, Haiku Road happens.
This collection of 30 poems, influenced by the masters of the form (Basho, Issa, Buson) but given a current and individual spin, charts the range of human emotion and natural experience, from birth to death and rebirth.
Also included is a short introduction in which the author shares some ideas on the structure and form of haiku.

Hi! I'm a writer and editor. I live in Chicago. "Haiku Road" is my sixth book and my first poetry collection. Most of my work is in non-fiction. Along with Rob Rodriguez, I created the 'FAQ' music series for Backbeat Books, and together we wrote "Fab Four FAQ" about the Beatles. I also wrote "Pink Floyd FAQ." Baseball occupies much of my professional time. I penned "Wrigley Field: The Unauthorized Biography" about what is arguably America's greatest ballpark. Also, I have collaborated on several books with Gary Gillette, including "Big League Ballparks." Thanks for reading...
