Secrets to being a better lover
Your handbook to understand the dynamics of love & how to use it to enrich yours and your partner’s lives
INTRODUCTION
Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.
- Albert Einstein
That’s right. Gravitation isn’t. What’s funny about this quote from Albert Einstein is that even his brilliant mind implies the unpredictability of love.
When it comes to love, there isn’t any kind of laws or theorems to understand it. You can be the most rational person out there, but when you’re in love you tend to act in ways that’s completely the opposite of rationality. Society changes from generation to generation, its laws modify and new norms are always being set as we progress through time. What was once unacceptable can become acceptable nowadays (for instance, homosexuality, and single parenthood). But one thing still stays the same, the way we celebrate love and perceive it as our most important emotion.
But what exactly is love? Are there different kinds of love? Is everyone capable of feeling it? How do you become a better lover?
Honestly, these questions still confuse the brightest minds in the world. Everyone has a different opinion when it comes to love and everyone will continue to do so. But one thing’s for sure – Love is a magical feeling that makes a person sacrifice themselves and put their partner’s welfare as a higher priority than themselves. In short, love is magical. You’ll find it being discussed by everyone in every facet of life. Musicians tend to use love the central theme of their songs, whilst using their lyrics to explore love more deeply. Movies always need to have a romantic plot (or a sub plot) to keep their viewers engaged. Newspapers make sure they have a gossip column to intrigue their readers about celebrity romantic relationships and who’s dating whom.
If you look closely, you’ll find love everywhere. Right from your home, your school, your college, your office, your TV, the music
