About this ebook
Book 5 of 5 in the Bubby Anthology.
Once upon a time, when Shadow Master was Shadow Student, he created an evil life form. This creature was unlike any other. Soon it became so powerful that even Shadow Master himself feared him, and was forced to banish him. Finally, ten years after the fall of Shadow Master, Draben is released. Bubby must now face the evil supreme (hold the onions). Will Bubby be able to knock off a foe greater than all others, or will he be caught napping on the job?
Review
Having defeated the grand master of evil in episode four, Bubby is confronted by an even greater threat in Bubby V. You may wonder if this is all a ploy of the author to extract more money from an unsuspecting public. If this is a concern of yours, B. P. Draper has his characters address it, as Bubby explains the tale will likely "be poorly written by some pathetic kid... and people will catch on that he or she is just writing the story for more money and won't buy it.... Poor guy." Although the author may allege that he only wrote this episode for the money, it is nevertheless my favorite of all five episodes. It is a fitting end for an auspicious series of short stories. --Braden Erp
B. P. Draper
Once a pathetic and lonely nerd, B. P. Draper was in high school in 1995, when he first wrote Bubby I. Since that time he has become increasingly nerdy, though somewhat less socially awkward. He is now a happily married adult and proud father of three children. In his spare time he watches Star Wars and Tron and makes up funny bedtime stories for his children (some of which will likely be published one day soon).

BUBBY V
Napping With the Froggies
An Extremely Short Introduction
It has been the space of many years since the world has enlisted the aid of our hero, Bubby. There have been many minor infractions of the law for which Bubby’s expertise in the field of crime fighting was useful. As far as creatures of destruction go though, life has been very, very, very dull. Bubby has been unchallenged for so long that there are times when he goes to bed restless. Long into the night he wonders if he will ever again be given a ticker-tape parade. Will there ever be a time when the world needs our hero’s assistance? Perhaps even just once more?
Of course there is. You’re reading this, aren’t you?
Chapter One
Bubby stood in the kitchen, cooking himself an omelet for breakfast, when the oven timer went off.
Ah, the muffins are done,
Bubby said to himself cheerfully.
With the ten years that had passed, without any true superhero work, Bubby had transformed himself into a culinary artist. Thousands thrived off of his cooking articles in The Daily Canyoe every week.
Bubby regularly traveled to cook-offs and argued with numerous world-renowned chefs as to the proper way to cook a simple piece of toast. Needless to say, he had built quite a following for himself.
Good morning, Bubby,
Dat said, alerting Bubby that she was awake.
I’m sure it is. I’ll just have to take your word on it for now.
What kind of attitude is that?
"I’m sorry, you misunderstood me. I’m in a perfectly fine mood. I’m
