"Destiny Binds Us All" is a collection of fascinating stories of fate.

In the novelette, "The Therapist and The Panther", Dan Wilson hopes a therapist will help his wife after a suicide attempt. Little does Dan know what a nightmare he is about to be involved in.

"Paul vs. Jack", is a novelette about an investment adviser, Paul Benton, who realizes his college-aged daughter has fallen in love with, Jack, a homeless handyman who is more than twice her age. Paul and his friend Rob must stop a wedding before it's too late.

In the macabre short story of "Case of Fate", retired detective John Denton is haunted by two unsolved murder cases from over 15 years ago. He seeks the help of a renowned psychiatrist. Will the detective finally be able to rid himself of the personal torment he has endured for so long?

And finally, "Mr. Barrow's Perfect Match" is a light-hearted short story of found love and love lost.

"Destiny Binds Us All" is a great read for any adult. The stories appeal equally to men and women.

As a bonus, the author includes what his inspirations were for each story.

Author

Gary Henicke

I specialize in writing realistic fiction; both historical and contemporary. I often get my ideas for stories from dreams. Some of my favorite authors are Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, H.G. Wells, John Steinbeck, Rod Serling, Richard Matheson (Twighlight Zone and I am Legend), and Earl Hamner (best known for "The Waltons"). In these times of mega novel series I think it's important to value the short stories, novelettes and novellas. A great story doesn't have to be the size of an unabridged dictionary.
