Introduction

When I was a child I loved to play games with my cousins, especially games of chance such as Monopoly and Go Fish. When I became an adult, my choices changed to games where there was actually money to be won. I learned to enjoy blackjack, roulette and especially poker. With the advent and improvement of electronic games it is now possible to play and to win at video poker.

The popularity of poker is at an all time high and video poker has become an important means of enjoying the game.

If you’ve visited a casino lately, you’ve seen that there are more options for your gambling entertainment than ever before. Casinos have begun to take video poker more seriously as more and more people play them, so you’ll see that there are not only more table games and more types of slot machines, but a much wider choice of video poker machines. Nowadays players are in greater numbers making video poker their game of choice.

Some of us just play for fun and of course there’s nothing wrong with that. But if you want to take the next step and actually try to win money in a casino, there will be useful information for you in this book.
