"You shouldn't be here," the princess said, her voice trembling slightly. "If I told my father he'd kill you just for setting foot in this room."

"That is how I know you won't," Sir Percival answered, cupping her face in the palm of that smooth, elegant hand. "My lady enjoys my attentions far too much for that. Do you not?"

She was ready with a scathing answer, but her breath caught as he leaned forward and captured her lips with his own. The kiss was soft yet hungry. Gwen knew if she let him, the knight would take what he wanted from her. It would be gentle and deliberate, as was his manner, but he wouldn't stop until that hunger was satisfied.

"Does my lady wish me to leave?" he asked coyly, running his hand from her neck, down her back, and circling her waist. She gave a groan and dropped the dagger as he pulled her close. He smelled of expensive foreign perfumes and the grass of the training field. He gave a wicked grin and said, "I will go the moment you ask it of me. But no sooner."

She tried to rebuff him, but her arms hung limply at her sides. Her chest burned as his hands moved lower, and she couldn't deny the throbbing need inside of her. She could only look up into those cool, green eyes and moan as he found her naked thighs and slowly pushed the hem of her gown up further and further. No one had ever touched her like this before.
