0310810078_content_0003_001INTRODUCTION
The great and glorious promises of God— they are our security in a world of uncertainty and turmoil. They are life vests, intended to protect us through stormy seas. They are God’s gifts given corporately to all of his children— but personally to each one of us.
We’ve compiled this book,Promises for Men, so that you can take hold of God’s promises for your life. We pray that as you read, you will begin to understand how vast his promises really are, covering virtually every area of daily life. Then, it’s our hope that you will appropriate them as God intended, whether your skies are sunny or gray, both in good times and bad. God’s promises are sufficient to cover any need you might have.
So read them, believe them, rely on them, treasure them. Most of all, thank God for them. Though freely given, they have been bought with a great price—the holy, righteous blood of God’s precious son, Jesus.
Untitled-1For the sake of your servant and according to your will, you have done this great thing and made known all these great promises.

1 SAMUEL 12:22

PROVERBS 13:12
Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.
PHILIPPIANS 3:7– 9
The plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all
generations.

against a troop;
with my God I can scale a wall.
PSALM 18:29
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day— and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
2 TIMOTHY 4:7– 8
Commit to the LORD whatever
you do,
and your plans will succeed.
