About this ebook

No past. No future. Only now.

Originally a self-publishing success launched on N. Frank Daniels's MySpace page, the novel Futureproof tells the story of Luke and his friends as they navigate Atlanta’s subculture of delinquents. In short order, the seemingly harmless high from his first cigarette sends Luke on a downward spiral that ends only after years of self-abuse. It is an extreme cautionary tale told with sensitivity, ferocity, and grit.

This book is raw, honest, & real. Although sometimes difficult to read because of language, sex, and the heartache you feel for the characters I didn't want to put it down. This book is more fact than fiction, and that is the most sobering thing of all.

this book was a major eye opener for me. not just about drugs, but how you feel about your life in general.

Demonstrates how environment can lead to temptation and how the human soul’s struggle against addiction. Very well written. Left you at times very angry with the characters as they fail again and again to beat their Joneses and move past what obviously is ruining their lives. This so easily can be applied to more subtle addictions that are less criminal but just as life limiting.
