Lessons from the Wild - Shayamal Vallabhjee
INTRODUCTION
I have been through a lot and have suffered a great deal. But I have had lots of happy moments, as well. Every moment in one’s life is different from the other. The good, the bad, hardships, the joy, the tragedy, love and happiness are all interwoven into a single indescribable whole that is called LIFE. You cannot separate the good from the bad. And perhaps there is no need to do so, either.
— Jacquelyn Kennedy Onassis
Life is a journey. A journey that sometimes leads us into perilous situations with little to no hope of success. A journey that will at times require courage, strength and fortitude to overcome adversity. A journey that is a struggle speckled only with moments of joy, laughter and happiness — but moments that have the power to take our breath away, and make the journey worthwhile.
The animal kingdom has a cross-spectrum of millions of species of land, air and aquatic life. These animals co-exist in a diverse environment that constantly poses a threat to their daily survival, as well as a threat to the existence of their species. The battles and hardships we face on a day-to-day basis are lifelong struggles in the animal world. Lessons from the Wild is a unique collection of adaptations, migratory patterns and stories of hardship that have molded the animal kingdom into a silent reservoir of guts and glory, beyond our wildest comprehension.
Let Lessons from the Wild guide you into the world of animals, and let the animals show us the meaning of life and motivate us to overcome the challenges of everyday life.
