Preface

As this year’s Northern District Assembly of The Churches of Christ Holiness Unto The Lord (COCHUTL, Inc.) was nearing, it was time to begin making plans and preparations. District Bishop Edd W. Thomas asked the staff to pray and ask The Lord about this year’s theme. One of the committee members received only one word from The Lord. Another heard a small phrase. Upon meeting together the committee members realized what God was saying. After much discussion and analyzing the present state of the church, it became clear that The Lord had given them this year’s theme.

Upon settling the theme, the committee began to consider every resource, element and reference to help ensure that all those attending would by no means go without resources, and a clear objective of some of the ideas and thoughts concerning this year’s theme.

With that said, the committee asked me to write a short book on the theme. This book was distributed to those attending members. Along with the book, the seminar sessions and keynote messages were all centered around the theme.

After the ND Assembly convened during May, 2013, the theme had such an impact during the convention that the theme began to spread into the other Districts of COCHUTL. As it spread to other districts, this theme is now presented to you.

It is truly time for Spiritual Renewal for Greater. The Church of Christ is in great need of Greater joy, Greater peace, Greater anointing, Greater miracles, and Greater harvest. Let this small book impact you, your churches, your communities, and the world in these last days for Greater.
