      I absolutely adored this book. Great story, powerful message. A definite “ must read/listen “

      The author is an artful storyteller, but he needs to study history more closely. He referred to one of the characters as being a conservative republican in the early 1940’s. This is inaccurate. The southern United States was predominantly Democrats as were members of racist organizations.
