Jane Austen

Jane Austen nació en la rectoría de Steventon, al noreste de Hampshire, el 16 de diciembre de 1775. Séptima hija del reverendo George Austen y de Cassandra Leigh, Jane Austen fue una destacada novelista británica que, gracias a su gran habilidad para retratar a la sociedad en la que vivió, es considerada como uno de los clásicos de la literatura inglesa.
