About this audiobook
Nora Helmer has everything a young housewife could want: beautiful children, an adoring husband, and a bright future. But when a carelessly buried secret rises from the past, Nora’s well-calibrated domestic ideal starts to crumble. Ibsen’s play is as fresh today as it was when it first stormed the stages of 19th-century Europe.
Recorded in Los Angeles before a live audience at the James Bridges Theater, UCLA in September, 2011.

Henrik Ibsen
Henrik Ibsen (1828-1906) was a Norwegian playwright who thrived during the late nineteenth century. He began his professional career at age 15 as a pharmacist’s apprentice. He would spend his free time writing plays, publishing his first work Catilina in 1850, followed by The Burial Mound that same year. He eventually earned a position as a theatre director and began producing his own material. Ibsen’s prolific catalogue is noted for depicting modern and real topics. His major titles include Brand, Peer Gynt and Hedda Gabler.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5One size fits all acting, if you've heard one LATW you've heard them all, in this case Yorvald is simplified into Homer Simpson, but better than Librivox.
