About this audiobook

This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice.

Trapped in a loveless marriage beneath the unforgiving Sardinian sky, Marianna yearns for freedom. A new law offers a glimmer of hope, but the price is steep. When forced to choose between a past shrouded in pain and a future devoid of love, she embarks on a path filled with forbidden desires and agonizing choices. Haunted by the consequences of escape, Marianna finds herself caught in a tug-of-war between societal expectations and the burning embers of a rekindled love. "After the Divorce" by Grazia Deledda is a poignant exploration of sacrifice, passion, and the enduring quest for freedom amidst the unforgiving terrain of tradition and the human heart.
