About this audiobook
Mark Twain
Mark Twain, who was born Samuel L. Clemens in Missouri in 1835, wrote some of the most enduring works of literature in the English language, including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc was his last completed book—and, by his own estimate, his best. Its acquisition by Harper & Brothers allowed Twain to stave off bankruptcy. He died in 1910.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another brilliant mind. I thought his quotes on marriage were hilarious. Especially " familiarity breeds contempt.. and children. "
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have been listening to this audiobook as some intervals for years now, and I can say with absolute certainty that no matter what you are struggling or facing in life, you are sure to find one or two quotes atleast in this book that contains solution to the problem, I tried this many times and it was always on point for me, more I listen to it more I see the meaning of sentence was very different than what I previously thought, one example being sleepy conscience, till now I always listened it as awake
