About this audiobook

“Welcome To Parkview” reads the sign on the outskirts of town. You glance up at the invitation and wonder if getting on the inbound bus is a wise idea. Little do you know that this is a town built on deceit, soulless transients and restless ghosts, infidelity and temptation, and murderers that have no discrimination to the lovers pleading their final vows. Even vampires lurk in the shadows without you having the slightest warning.

You peer through the grimy window at the heart of the town as the bus turns each corner of these streets. The façade is peeled back just enough for you to see past the surface. You catch a glimpse of the darkness that put Parkview on the map. It’s then you realize that nothing is a coincidence.

In Parkview, it may be best to keep buried secrets quiet, because even the truth can be a deception.

Amateurish wrdon't. Abd narration, for me, disappointment abounded. The narrator didn't help the poor stories, not my 1st time listening to him, I keep hoping he will come alive, but nope. I could get only halfway through it when I threw in the towel. It's a bunch of short stories taking place in 1 town. Each segment uses 1 or more of the towns folks in it, so you think there might be a chance to build a little characterization, another nope. Then the lack of wow was so pronounced it was becoming grating. It was so superficial that not one segment was exciting enough to keep me going. It all felt incomplete, falling short in a big way. I say abandon ship and launch the life boats, save yourself. Dont do it.
