Ping is a Chinese boy who had his parents killed.In green knowe, he happened to meet a poor gorilla, Hanno .Hanno also had parents killed and escaped from zoo.But people were trying capture or kill Hanno ...This book was not hard to read. And it was worth reading.I was moved by Ping who has a hot heart though he has a sad past.I learned from this book that human and animal can relate each other well.

Chinese living in Britain as a refugee Ping, and he met at a zoo gorilla named Hanno.He superimposed his predicament and the gorilla, look in the cage.He has to Share in his summer vacation because he knows that Hanno fled to the zoo.First ,I thought happy story,but this book is not so happy.I was very sad after reading this book.I think Old woman in GREEN KNOWE,she is sitting her belly,and a nice lady.

This book's main character is Ping who is a Chines boy. He is alone because he has no family. One day, he met a big gorilla, Hanno in the zoo. In my surprised, he understood Hanno's feeling. They became like a vest friends. However, a sad accident happened... I was so impressed by this story. I thought, the animals have a mind like a human. This book taught me something important. I reccommend you this book.

Ping is a and lives in a Hostel for Displaced Children. He sees Hanno, a big and black gorilla, in the zoo, and he is unhappy to see animals caged. He comes to spend his holiday at Green Knowe. And Hanno escapes from the zoo...I like this story very much. In the woods, Ping tries to make Hanno live there, and be free, because Ping also lives in "a cage," and I felt his kindness. At last, Hanno comes to stay in the woods forever, and it makes me little sad.

Ping was lonely refugee, so he understood Hanno's feelings easily and got attracted to that strong animai very strongly. Then, on his way to Green Knowe for the summer holiday, he got a news that Hanno escaped from the zoo.After reading, at first I thought that perhaps Hanno may have got happy in the zoo by getting his partner or children if he had decided to go back to the zoo soon. But, now I think his decision wasn't wrong because the cage with the floor made of concrete was so far from his home that it wouldn't be his "home" definitely. Though family or friends are one of the most precious factors for a happy life, "home" is more so because it never leaves us. Ping of refugee had known that so much, so he accepted his friend's decision quietly in spite that at the same time he caught the sight of the words "Good bye." , I think.

African gorilla, Hanno, escapes from the zoo to green knowe. Ping, a little chinese boy, find him at green knowe and give foods to him. But people who try to capture or kill Hanno come to there...I can see some sentences which are written about Hanno's feeling. It is very interesting for me. I couldn't have stopped reading so I have read this at one go.

This story is about Ping, who is a boy and Hanno, who is a gorilla. They were spending similar life which was that they had been alone since they were little. I think they were like best friend even if they were different creatures. I think animals also have a mind. This is because that I have a dog, and when I am crying, he walks to me and stares at me. Maybe he is worried about me. So Hanno also has a mind and he likes Ping. I was impressed by this story!

What will happen Ping and Hannno?I feel this book end is a rapid development but I like this story about two of a kind. I believe that people reach out to animals is possible so Hanno's act impressed me deeply. This book gives us the opportunity to think about relationship between human and animals.

Hanno is a gorilla.His parents were killed by hunters,and he was taken a zoo.Then Pig who was mein character met him.After Hanno had escaped from the zoo,Pig and Hanno met again.they became friends.And Pig want to save Hanno which is in danger.This story is unbelievable in our ordinary life.But I enjoyed reading how Pig try to save Hanno.

This is a wonder story. Becausse the ending isn't the ending which I thought, I was very amazed it when I finished reading. I think we cannot say that thing like dhis story will not happen in actuality. I learned we must be kind to every creature even animals. If people and animals exsist together more than ever, it will be easier to live in our world.
