Alan Dean Foster

Alan Dean Foster’s work to date includes excursions into hard science fiction, fantasy, horror, detective, western, historical, and contemporary fiction. He has also written numerous nonfiction articles on film, science, and scuba diving and produced the novel versions of many films, including such well-known productions as Star Wars, the first three Alien films, Alien Nation, and The Chronicles of Riddick. Other works include scripts for talking records, radio, computer games, and the story for the first Star Trek movie. His novel Shadowkeep was the first ever book adaptation of an original computer game. In addition to publication in English his work has been translated into more than fifty languages and has won awards in Spain and Russia. His novel Cyber Way won the Southwest Book Award for Fiction in 1990, the first work of science fiction ever to do so.

Simply amazing. Henrikson's sonorous voice and Gibson's knack for seamless wrapping of you into the story while expositing the scenes and technology are a perfect blend to take you into the movie that could have been.

Alien III by William Gibson and narrated by a full cast, including the original "Hicks" and "Bishop". Love the cover art too! The first few minutes gets the listener oriented to where in the story plot things are happening. Then the new material is presented. It is fast paced, exciting, and wonderful just what I have come to expect and love from all the Alien movies! The full cast with the music was just like watching a movie ( with my eyes closed, lol)!

The third instalment in the Alien franchise, poor Ripley just can't catch a break, after escaping for the second time, once again she finds herself trapped somewhere with a alien. This time it's a slightly different version after incubating in a mutated ox. Various machinations follow, not as atmospheric as the last two but nonetheless a good sci fi romp.
