Thomas Wideman is a project management professional and author of the memoir "Welfare Cheese to Fine Caviar". Growing up in poverty, he faced multiple financial, social, and family problems that changed his life perspective at a young age. Taking matters into his own hands, he decided to break the vicious circle of constant hardships and invested in education as his way out of this life. After graduating from high school and serving in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Chemical Operations Specialist, he followed a successful academic path, earning a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University Of South Carolina and an MBA in Finance from the Georgia State University. Combining his need to help people achieve their dreams with his love for writing, he created the "Welfare Cheese to Fine Caviar", where he states his life adventures and shows how he managed to thrive despite the difficulties he experienced. Besides a qualified professional, Thomas Wideman is a devoted husband and a loving father of two wonderful sons.
