A single mother romance, living in homes that are unoccupied. From this alone, I knew I would enjoy the storyline and how Damon and Katy blossom. Unfortunately, their romance fell short and Katy really started to grind on my nerves. Whenever something seemed out of place or happened with Bee, Katy's reactions instantly escalated. There was no build-up.

There was a lot of tension being discussed between the characters but there wasn't much action and when Katy and Damon finally caved to their needs it fell flat. A number of scenes and scenarios were mentioned fleetingly and so quickly that they didn't bring much to the story because there was no substantial outcome.

This series is a group of standalones but to some extent, I feel you do need to know the previous characters stories to feel included in the gang that they create.

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..I really enjoyed this book and it is a part of series but considered as standalone. I am embarrassed to say that I have the first 2 books and I haven't read them yet, yup not good. So that said you will love this family. Damon is a modern day prince charming and I really enjoyed Katy and Bee..That's all folks you need to grab a copy and read. Enjoy!
