Jane Austen

It was the WORST book I have ever read. Terrible! Never even try to read it.

I couldn’t get through the introduction-both hokey and dripping in self-importance with unbearable background music. Droning on about the uplifting importance of ‘The Classics’, this narrator is a nightmare pastiche of boring teachers of ‘Literature’ who turn off generations of students from any appreciation of reading. Awful.
