- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Naturally, it was written by a woman, and thank goodness for that! It is a wonderful, enthralling, brilliant book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Soooooo good. This book was very well done. I will absolutely be listening to the others in the series.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I have always been fascinated with Homer's Odyssey and The Iliad. All Greek myths. It's just very interesting that this book gives us the history of Medusa before Athena cursed her for something both women knew to be true. Perssius was the son of Medusa due to. Eing raped by Zeus. Her curse made her a monster. She was evil to those that happen upon her island. The author gives you her history and the humane qualities that Homer did not include in his prose written approx 200 yrs BC. Don't quote me on the years. Highly recommended ?
