A. J. Vrana is a Serbian-Canadian academic and writer from Toronto, Canada. She lives with her two rescue cats, Moonstone and Peanut Butter, who nest in her window-side bookshelf and cast judgmental stares at nearby pigeons. Her doctoral research examines the supernatural in modern Japanese and former-Yugoslavian literature and its relationship to violence. When not toiling away at caffeine-fueled, scholarly pursuits, she enjoys jewelry-making, cupcakes, and concocting dark tales to unleash upon the world. “If someone’s going to end me, they better do it with some fucking purpose.

I've said it before I'll say it again I loved this book. *Chef kiss* @a.j.vrana really has a way with words. There are some books I can go thru and it's like good but nothing stands out and reading her work I will just stop and be like "Damnnn That's a good line" or something will literally make me laugh out loud.

A quick none spoiler summary: (hate making summaries of second books can never say anything without giving something away)

"After" Black Hollow. Miya is still getting the hang of her Dream walking powers with her lovable pooch Kia. (he'd totally adore me calling him that ??). They're popping up everywhere banishing evil, but when a murder brings them all back together in Mississippi we learn that once Black Hollow has its teeth in you it does not so easily let go.

I absolutely loved the backstory we get about the dreamwalker and the wolf. Like absolutely loved it.
